1. Set up your workspace
Create your account, set your business name and time zone, then set two numbers in settings: your hourly operating cost and your per-item packaging cost. Every margin in the app uses them, so it is worth doing before your first show.
2. Build inventory
Single items live in the SKU library with a cost basis each. Cases and mixed boxes go in as bulk lots: enter the landed cost and the number of sellable pieces, and the per-unit cost is derived and applied to every sale from that lot. Purchase orders let you allocate freight and overhead across several lots at once.
3. Install the Chrome extension
Install the extension, then open Streamalytix in the same browser while signed in — the extension connects itself, no key to copy. Open your Whatnot show and it begins posting sales as they close, with a live credit balance in the popup. Automatic logging supports Whatnot today; TikTok Shop Live is in development.
4. Run the show
Open the live page before you go on air. Sales appear as they are logged, matched to your SKUs and lots, with profit, margin and average order value updating on the tiles. Anything unidentified can be assigned in one click, and corrections are remembered against stable identifiers such as a UPC.
5. Close and report
Ending the show in the extension closes the stream. The stream report covers revenue, fees, cost of goods, host pay and net profit, exportable as CSV or a branded PDF. Packing slips and postcard inserts print from the same data.
6. Hosts and payroll
Add hosts with rates and availability, assign them to shows, then run commission or hourly payroll off the logged sales. Roles keep payroll and margins hidden from host accounts.
7. Analytics and sourcing
Performance covers peak hours, per-show trends and host comparisons. Products and sourcing covers per-item and per-lot returns, so the next buying decision has evidence behind it.
